Death's Apprentice didn't start out thinking about death, at least not natural death. Starting out writing horror stories and avoiding facing actual death, she was thrust into the funeral industry during a point in her life of death and rebirth. This was exactly the catalyst needed to find her calling, helping people accept and plan for their inevitable death and feel comfortable talking about it. Through her curiosity about all things death, whether for writing a new story or researching to learn what you can do with your body when you die, she became Death's Apprentice.
